Fred Howard park

September 18, 2015
Overcast: Cloudy
Temperature: 81 F

Salinity: 35

The class and I went to Fred Howard Park to learn about marine ecosystems.
The first thing we did was use a seine net to observe living organisms. First we caught a crab, then we caught a lot of fish! Clark even found a shoe in the water!
After this the class and I went snorkeling!! There we saw organisms such as: cnidarian, fish, turtle, shoal, and manatee grass, clam, sting ray, crab.
It was a super fun field trip, and I would definitely recommend snorkeling at Fred Hoard Park to anyone who is interested in improving their knowledge on Florida's marine ecosystems!

****Fun Fact: Sea foam is actually Fat from Marine animals! ****
