Cliff Stephens
Last Friday our class met at the Cliff Stephens Park, located in Clearwater FL, It was pretty hot outside but the park had a lot of shade areas so it wasn't too bad. while visiting this park we got a lot of "hands on" experience. first we divided into small groups and went to different locations within the park.
The park has a lake, which is the one shown above. While visiting the lake, we got to measure water's PH balance, salinity, and temperature which is probably one of the things I enjoyed the most.

On the other stations, we also got to use really cool tools like the drift net, transect line and densiometer. Overall it was a very interesting trip, and it gave us the opportunity to actually learn how to use all those different tools.
