Coopers Bayou is a Estuary located is safety harbor, it offers free parking along with a kayak and a canoe "launch" to the ocean. All around the perimeter had mangroves growing along the coast, there were three mangroves, (lenthciles, black, nomatfores).  These type of plants filters out the salt for pure hydration. I saw two different types of fishes that jumped out of the water, and a few spiders. there is at least a million organism that live within a yard, they also live in lose sand sediments. I really enjoyed canoeing and exploring florida!!!

  1. The three types of mangroves are red, white, and black. What you have listed are characteristics of the mangroves that help the deal with low levels of oxygen. Also, they don't completely keep out the salt water, but they do have adaptations to minimize salt levels.
