Scavenger Hunt at Botanical Gardens

Location:      Florida Botanical Garden Mostly sunny with 45% cloud cover

It goes without saying it was another hot day.  However, it was fun times out in the sun because we got to hunt and take pictures of beautiful plants.

There were a lot of these around and yet we did not get to see ANY!!

We saw some Figs! But we did not eat any. Though I believe there were some people who wanted to.

It was such a beautiful day out.  There was even a nice breeze out.

Apparently you can have weddings here.  It was too hot I couldn't put people though that.

This Foxtail Fern 'Meyersii'  was soft to the touch and it looked like stars.
Here is Thousand Fingers banana these things freaked me out they looked like eyes.
Grows to 12 .' Produces hundreds of small sweet finger bananas that are only 1 1/2" long. The "thousand fingers" are borne on a massive stalk over 10' long nearly touching the ground.

I thought when I took this picture it was okay but then I took the time and looked in the water and saw the snail.

I didn't know that those suckers could survive under water.  Who knew.

And last but not lest Thumper! Thumper did not want his picture taken at all.
